2020 Champ de Mars Pinot noir

LIBRARY WINE that has been aged onsite in Dehlinger's temperature controlled cellar.  At the heart of the Estate, adjacent to the winery building, lies a portion of the vineyard called the Champ de Mars in reference to its red-colored soil. This area is the source for our very limited and much-coveted Champ de Mars bottling, a selection made from the very best these vines have to offer. The 2020 vintage is exceedingly strong, showing inviting glints of ruby to the eye and a sense of seamlessness in the mouth. Across our repeated tastings of the wine as it aged in barrel and in bottle, we have found it to be forward, expressive, and showy — and a favorite for the vintage. (92 Points Wine Spectator)
