2021 Estate Chardonnay

Our signature Estate Chardonnay has earned a reputation over the decades for both its intensity and balance, with a flinty, yeasty profile and integrated flavors. For so many of you, this wine has become a staple. The noble character of the wine starts with the small-berried Chardonnay clone we grow on the Estate vineyard. In the cool Russian River Valley, both flavors and acidity are concentrated in this small berry volume, which generates the layers of flavors found only in the best white wines. Add the drought year of 2021 to our dry farmed hillside vineyard and you have character that captivates and satisfies.
